Meeting Anna[]
Talia met Anna at an art gallery, where Talia had planned to purchase a painting. Anna saw the painting, but said there was only one thing in the gallery worth having and led Talia over to a photograph of Cindy Sherman, explaining why she liked it so much. Talia thought she must work for the gallery, but Anna said that she just told her father what to buy and he did it. Talia told her that earning it was better than inheriting it. Talia ended up buying the photograph and putting it in her guest house.
Later, Talia was in Ibiza on Henrick Knight's yacht when Anna reached out to her and said she was also in Ibiza. Talia told her to come to Henrick's yacht for dinner. Anna said she had plans that night, but offered to come the next day, which she did, along with her boyfriend, Chase Sikorski.
When they arrived, Talia introduced them to Hen, as well as Steve Lagos and his girlfriend, Bryce. Bryce thought she'd seen Anna at the SoHo House, but Anna said she never went there and said she actually wanted to start her own club and reject their members. Talia encouraged her to do that. As the party died down, Chase tried to pitch his app to Hen and Steve, which Talia found inappropriate because they were on vacation. She tried to Chase to stop, but then Anna stepped in and suggested that Hen and Steve didn't see the value of Chase's app because they were too old. Talia tried to stop her, as she was Talia's guest, but Hen said it was fine. After Anna's pitch, Hen agreed to invest $100,000 into the app.
After the party ended, they all said goodbye and went their separate ways. But then Hen called Talia and told her that Chase and Anna were still on his yacht, forcing the crew to stay and costing him thousands of dollars. Talia immediately called Anna and demanded that they leave immediately. Anna brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal, but she and Chase left the yacht. Talia and Anna never spoke again.
Interview with Vivian[]
After Anna was arrested, Vivian approached Talia and asked to interview her. Talia invited her to her home in the Hamptons for the interview. Vivian arrived and was surprised to see several other people at the house, but Talia said there were always people around as she loved to entertain. She offered Vivian a kaftan to wear at the house so she would be more comfortable. They then sat down on the couch and Talia began to tell Vivian everything she knew about Anna, including how they met and the yacht adventure that ended their relationship, which she said had to be Chase's doing as Anna knew better.
When Talia finished talking, Vivian realized they'd been there for hours and the sun had gone down. Talia invited Vivian and her husband to stay in the guest cottage, saying Anna had also previously stayed there and the Sherman photograph was displayed there.
