Svetlana Sorokin is the mother of Anna Sorokin.
History[]
Svetlana was at home when her son, Ivan, called out to her. She opened the door to find Vivian Kent outside her home. Vadim explained to Svetlana that Vivian was a reporter writing a story about their daughter, Anna. Svetlana told Vivian to come inside.
Svetlana told Vivian they didn't want to talk to her about Anna, but said she didn't know the name Delvey, despite Anna's claims that it was Svetlana's maiden name. Svetlana then said it was easy to imagine them as monsters, but children don't come from their parents. Anna was always like she was. She was like a stranger in their house, while Ivan's soul was like her soul. Vivian asked if Svetlana knew that Anna had attempted suicide. The question made Svetlana realize that Vivian cared about Anna. She said that they had learned to let it go and Vivian could as well. Vivian was disappointed that Anna's parents seemingly just gave up on her, though Svetlana said she was always beyond them.
