Working with Anna[]
Anna went to Sasha when she had the idea to start the Anna Delvey Foundation. She pitched her ideas to Sasha, but Sasha said she couldn't curate a collection without seeing a space, so she said Anna needed to get an architect on her team first. She loved Anna's ideas, but didn't know Anna's name and wondered why she should care.
Later, Anna went to a party with Nora, who introduced her to Michael Xufu Huang. Michael then introduced her to Sasha, who remembered their earlier meeting.[1]
Interview with Vivian[]
Sasha was among those Vivian Kent interviewed while gathering information for a story on Anna Delvey. Sasha said that Anna had a painting that was supposed to be sold for $42 million and she and her brother were supposed to split the money. Sasha said she'd seen the painting, but struggled to be certain that was true. Sasha also noted that Anna wore the same black dress every time Sasha saw her. She was shocked to learn that Anna was not actually a German heiress.[2]
