Richard Lavin is a property manager Anna worked with when trying to start ADF.
History[]
When Anna was trying to start ADF, she reached out to Richard, who manages all the high-end properties in Manhattan. He asked if she had a creative team or investors. Because she didn't have those things, he declined to work with her. However, later, after making social connections through Nora Radford, Richard got a lot of calls about Anna. He said they needed to find her a property. She was insistent that she wanted 281 Park. ("Two Birds, One Throne")
Richard went with Anna, Gabriel Calatrava, Richie Notar, and Jaffe to tour 281 Park. Once they got inside, Anna shared her vision for the space. Once they were done, Richard told her he had other parties interested in the property. She insisted that she had to have it, so they estimated she would need to secure $40 million in funding to finance it.[1]
