Trip to Morocco[]
When Anna Delvey, Rachel DeLoache Williams, and Kacy Duke planned a trip to a resort in Morocco, Rachel invited Noah to come along and document their trip.
Upon arrival in Morocco, Noah immediately began filming. At dinner that night, Noah rushed to Kacy's aid when she started to feel very sick. When she decided she needed to go home, Noah helped her get her things together and get into her car to the airport. Noah was filming when the resort employees began to insist on a new form of payment, as they had no way of getting money for their services. Noah was incredulous when Rachel ended up putting down her work card as a hold when Anna said she was working things out with her bank. When they ended up being told they couldn't leave the resort without a valid form of payment, Noah told Rachel it was time for them to leave without Anna. They both packed and went to the airport immediately.[1]
Return to Work[]
When they got back to New York and returned to work, Noah found Rachel when he came to Vanity Fair for a meeting and asked how she was doing. She told him that Anna had charged her work card for the full amount of the trip, but she still believed that Anna would fix it. He asked her to get dinner sometime, but she said she couldn't.
Despite this, Noah and Rachel started spending more time together. Noah was shocked that Anna didn't pay Rachel back as she'd promised she would. Despite this, Rachel continued to defend Anna, saying Anna was her friend.
Much later, after her work said they were investigating her involvement in the fraud and would be contacting the police if they found that she was involved, Rachel told Noah she felt like an idiot for letting things with Anna go so far. He told her she was being a good friend. Rachel said something like that wouldn't happened to Anna because Anna puts herself first. Rachel then decided to give Anna the drama she clearly wanted.[2]
Talking to Vivian[]
After Anna was arrested, Vivian approached Noah, who happily gave her the footage he'd shot in Morocco. He also told her he was happy to license it to Manhattan Magazine if she wanted. He also explained that Rachel had brought him onto the trip to film everything after working with him at Vanity Fair. He believed Anna was testing her own reality show or something like that. Despite handing over the footage, Noah said he wasn't comfortable talking about what happened in Morocco. When Vivian shared what she knew, Noah admitted that Anna had pressured Rachel to put her card down as payment.[3]
