Vivian's Ultrasound[]
When Vivian reached the point in pregnancy where presumptive sex could be determined by ultrasound, Dr. Harris did an ultrasound and told Vivian and Jack that they were having a girl. When Vivian started cursing upon hearing the news, Dr. Harris stepped out to give her and Jack a moment.[1]
Vivian's Birth[]
When Vivian started having contracts, she called Dr. Harris's office and asked them to have the doctor meet her at the hospital. At the hospital, Dr. Harris examined her and said that her baby's head was engaged, meaning she'd go into labor in 2-3 days, so she needed to take it easy. Vivian promised to take care of herself.
When Vivian went into labor, Dr. Harris met her at the hospital to deliver her baby. Vivian was at ten centimeters, but her blood pressure was low and the baby was developing late decels, so Dr. Harris said she needed to deliver immediately or she'd have to have a c-section. Despite Vivian's exhaustion, Jack convinced her to push and their baby was delivered.[2]
