David Morrison is a banker with Fortress Investment Group, from whom Anna tried to get a loan.

Anna's Party[]
David attended a party Anna threw to make contacts to help her start ADF. At the party, he introduced her to several other people who could help her. When Anna called everyone's attention to her to thank them for coming, David told Alan Reed that Anna was special and could be a big deal for them.
After the party, David told Anna that her loan application had passed the first stage and would be closed after they did due diligence. He then offered her tickets to Berkshire Hathaway, which she accepted. While she was there, David called her to tell her her application was with the underwriters and they just needed $100,000 to proceed. She promised to have Peter wire it immediately.[1]
Dinner with Anna and Conrad[]
David had dinner with Anna and Conrad Lewis. At the dinner, David warned Conrad not to try to steal Anna away as Anna was going to be working with Fortress. When David had to leave the table, he warned Anna not to sign anything while he was gone. After their dinner, David left the hotel.[2]
Interview with Vivian[]
While collecting material for her story on Anna, Vivian interview David, who worked for Fortress. David said that Anna looked like a Barbie doll and told a story about her pooping in his office bathroom, where he had no toilet paper, creating a noticeable odor. He expressed that he wished he knew her better.[3]
Anna's Trial[]
David testified in Anna's trial, talking about Anna's persistence in pursuing a loan. He also admitted that he flirted with her.[4]
