History[]
Anna's First Hearing[]
During Anna's first hearing following her arrest, Anna didn't show up at the scheduled time. When Alexi came into the courtroom, he indicated to Todd that Anna wasn't there.[1]
Discovery[]
When Anna decided not to take the deal, Alexi and Todd began to prepare for her trial. When Vivian Kent visited their office and asked about Talia Mallay, Todd refused to comment. However, once he was gone, he asked Alexi what they had on Talia and learned that McCaw had only sent over one box of discovery. Todd went to her and demanded everything she had. Later, he and Alexi waited while a truck full of discovery was unloaded outside their office.[2]
Alexi helped Todd comb through all the boxes.[3]
Anna's Trial[]
As Anna's day in court approached, she began calling Todd many times a day. Alexi answered the phone and told Anna that Todd wasn't there at Todd's behest. She told him to tell Todd to call her father and have him wire money for her stylist or bring it when he came for the trial.
With Alexi's help, Todd called Vadim and told him about the trial. Vadim said he wouldn't be coming, even after Todd said Anna needed her family there.
After the verdict came down in Anna's case, Todd left Alexi in charge while he went on a vacation with his family, though Todd quickly returned.[4]
Career[]
He is a defense lawyer. He and Todd Spodek are the only two lawyers at their practice, Spodek and Associates.
